L'Hemisfèric is an iconic architectural landmark located in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain. Designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava, it was inaugurated in 1998 as the first building in the cultural complex. Shaped like a giant eye, L’Hemisfèric symbolizes the eye of knowledge and features a remarkable retractable roof that opens and closes like an eyelid.
